Moto Officina Smiths/Laverda replica tachometer : this are the rev-counters we mount on our 750 SFC Replicas. As the genuine Smiths instruments for Laverda are hard to find and quite fragile, we decided to reproduce them. Our Smiths/Laverda replaces the original rev counter but has the advantage of being electronic (it takes the impulse on the coil) and is completely waterproof.
We wish you a joyful festive season and all the best for 2018.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Latest "barn found", a very nice Gilera Saturno 500 single. Although we have not clearly identified the year and the model, it should be a post 1952 model as it is already fitted with rear dual shocks. The early Gilera Saturno has been produced from 1946 to 1958 with various upgrades and mainly in 4 versions : "Turismo", "Sport", "Competizione" and "Corsa". A dual sport version also appeared in 1953 as well as some models fitted with a 600 cc engine intended to be used with a sidecar. The production of the Saturno stopped in 1958. In 1987 Gilera reused the name with the Saturno 500 bialbero, a sport fitted with a liquid cooled 4 valves 500 cc single engine. The production of this early version of the Saturno ceased in 1991.

Moto Officina Laverda 750 SFC Elettronica carter replica under construction. As it is nearly impossible to find original SFC Elettronica primary chaincase carters or even copies of an acceptable quality we rebuild them. Our carter fits all the 750 SF engines for an elettronica conversion or can also replace the cover of an original '75 to '77 SFC.
The original Laverda parts were casted but to ensure higher quality and reduce production costs we manufacture them from billet. The finished product will have the same aspect as the original part but it can also be polished or coated in various colors.

Jean-Louis Basset shot some nice pictures of our Laverda 1200 "Diecimila" during a ride in the Spilimbergo region.
The "Diecimila" engine is the only known Laverda triple able to take 10.000 rpm while remaining perfectly reliable. This particular street version has a 180° engine and keeps the original Laverda connecting rods and crankshaft. However, for this type of engine we usually mount our forged steel performance connecting rods and modified crankshaft, in particular if it's for race applications.

Very nice and rare 1974 Moto Guzzi 750 S just arrived for sale.
Only 948 Moto Guzzi 750 S have been built during a little more than one year between 1974 and beginning of 1975. The 750 S is an evolution of the famous V7 Sport. The main visible difference are the front Brembo disk brakes which considerably improve braking power compared to the V7 Sport drum brakes and the color schemes (black and green striped like this one or black and orange/red striped).
Moto Officina new performance connecting rods for Laverda twins and triples. Our road & track forged steel connecting rods will soon be on sale as many other special parts.
The development of these parts required a great investment for a small company like ours, but as the current connecting rods on the market didn't fulfill our expectations we decided to produce our own rods for Laverda 2 and 3 cylinders. Our connecting rods are made of fully hardened CrMo 39 steel. They don't need bearing inserts at the big end and have an extremely high torsional rigidity and compression stress resistance. Of course, we provide also the related parts like rollers, coupling axis, etc

This year again the Biker Fest was the place to be in Italy. This 29th edition of the event has transformed the city of LIgnano into an Italian Daytona Bike Week. It's already more than 1 year ago when we finished Karim's Moto Guzzi Café Racer project. Based on a 1978 Guzzi V50 II, the plan was to build a very light and powerful machine with the classic line of the Guzzi sport bikes of the 70'. After more than one year regular ride and almost 10.000 km, only one incident, a broken (original) speedometer cable. Watch the video of the very first test ride after the last engine fine tuning.

1976 Laverda SFC 750 Elettronica replica by Moto Officina: Thierry discovers the finished machine and rides it for the first time. The Laverda 750 SFC Elettronica was the latest version of the famous Laverda SFC ("Super Freni Competizione") line. The last 35 machines built between mid 1976 and early1977 were equipped with 5 spokes alloy wheels like Thierry's replica.
